“I am the Lord, and there is no other;

though you have not acknowledged me,
so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting
people may know there is none
besides me (Isaiah 45:5-6).”
We were created in God’s image
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them (Genesis 1:27).”
We were created to be unique
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:14-16).”
